    Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum Gets Boost from IMLS

    Many GRC members house museums on their campuses eligible for support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) – some of which, like Troy University (Ala.), house collections uniquely tied to the history and identity of their surrounding communities. Troy University was recently awarded a grant from IMLS for its Rosa Parks Museum, which memorializes the life of its namesake while also sharing history and lessons of a landmark moment of the civil rights movement – the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
