    Trump Administration Releases FY 19 Budget Request

    The White House has released its FY 19 Budget Request, which again calls for the closure of the National Endowment for the Humanities, National Endowment for the Arts, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services and, according to the Washington Post, would add over $7 trillion in government debt over the next decade. Key priorities include addressing the opioid epidemic, promoting school choice, strengthening infrastructure, military spending, cutting safety net programs, and reorganizing and streamlining government.
